ICanHazChatCam What We Collect
This page is the short, practical companion to our privacy policy. Each item below has three parts: what it is, why we need it, and what you can do about it. If anything is missing or unclear, write to [email protected].

What: a random identifier stored on your device when you first open the site, so you are recognized as the same guest the next time you visit.
Why: without it, every visit would start from zero, your follows and messages would vanish, and free matches could not be tracked fairly.
Your options: clearing site data in your browser removes it, which starts you over as a new guest.
What: the display name and picture you choose to add, if any.
Why: so other people can recognize you in matches, clubs and their follow list.
Your options: keep the default guest name, skip the photo, or change both whenever you like.
What: the details used to create and secure a registered account.
Why: to let you sign back in, protect your coins and clubs, and contact you about the account if needed.
Your options: you only provide these if you register; you can ask us to delete the account at any time.
What: when a match happened, its mode (video, voice or text), how long it lasted and how it ended.
Why: to run matching, count free and paid matches, and investigate reports about a specific conversation.
Your options: these records are part of using the service; they are removed or anonymized when your account is deleted, except where needed for safety or billing.
What: text you send in private chats and clubs, and the translated version when automatic translation is used.
Why: to deliver messages, show your chat history, and display translations to people who read a different language.
Your options: do not put personal details in messages; block people you no longer want to hear from.
What: images and short videos you share in clubs or private messages.
Why: to show them to the people you shared them with, and to remove them if they are reported and break the rules.
Your options: share only what you are comfortable with a club full of people seeing; club rules ban screenshots, but no rule can make a shared picture completely private.
What: who you follow, who follows you, who you have blocked, and the clubs you joined, requested, own or were invited to.
Why: to build your lists, decide who can reach you, and let club owners manage their members.
Your options: unfollow, block, leave a club or delete a club you own whenever you like.
What: reports you file and reports filed about you, with the reason and any attached details.
Why: to look into rule breaking and keep people safe.
Your options: the person you report is not told who reported them. Reports about rule breaking may be kept after an account closes.
What: coin purchases, VIP status, gifts sent in live streams, coins spent and free matches claimed from the Reward Center.
Why: to credit what you paid for, keep balances correct and answer billing questions.
Your options: card details are handled by the payment provider you choose, not stored by us; purchase records are kept as long as the law requires.
What: which streams you watched, comments you posted in the stream chat, gifts you sent and requests for a one-on-one call.
Why: to show your comments to other viewers, deliver gifts, connect calls and keep stream chats within the rules.
Your options: comments in a stream are public to everyone watching, so treat them like club posts; you can leave a stream at any time.
What: the messages and attachments you send to our support address, and our replies.
Why: to solve the problem you wrote about and keep a record in case the same issue comes up again later.
Your options: send only what is needed; never include passwords or verification codes, which we will never ask for.
What: IP address, approximate country, browser and device type, language, and error logs.
Why: to connect matches, show the site in the right language, prevent abuse and fix crashes.
Your options: this is sent by every browser to every website; a different network or browser changes what we see. Language settings can be changed in the app if the automatic choice is wrong.
What: access to your camera and microphone during video and voice matches and calls.
Why: so the person you are talking to can see and hear you.
Your options: permission is controlled by your browser; text mode never uses either, and you can switch permission off in your browser settings at any time.
