01 Who this policy is from

ICanHazChatCam is the webcam chat website at icanhazchatcam.com, including the version you can pin to a phone home screen. "We" and "us" in this policy mean the people who operate that website. "You" means anyone using it, whether you arrived five minutes ago as a guest or you run three clubs.

This policy applies to everything on the site: one-on-one matching by video, voice or text, the online list, follows and private messages, the Club hall and clubs, short videos and live streams, coins, VIP and the Reward Center.

02 Source one: what you give us

Some information only exists because you chose to hand it over. You can use a good part of the site without giving any of it.

• Profile details. A display name, photo, short bio or other profile fields, if you add them. Guests start without any of these.
• Account details. If you register, the details needed to create and secure the account.
• What you write and share. Messages in private chats and clubs, comments in live streams, and photos or short videos you post in clubs or messages.
• Club details. If you create a club: its name, picture, description and the entry rule you choose.
• Messages to support. Anything you send to our support address, including attachments.

03 Source two: what using the site creates

Using a chat service leaves a trail of ordinary records. These are the main ones and what they look like:

• Match records. That a match happened, when, in which mode, and whether it ended with Next.
• Social connections. Who you follow, who follows you, who you have blocked, and which clubs you have joined, requested or been invited to.
• Reports. Reports you file and reports filed about you, with the details attached to them.
• Purchases and rewards. Coin purchases, VIP status, gifts sent in live streams, coins spent on matches, and free matches claimed from the Reward Center.
• Translation requests. When a text message is translated, the text is processed so the translated version can be shown.

04 Source three: what your device sends

Every browser shares some technical information when it loads a website. We receive the IP address, the approximate country it points to, the browser and device type, language settings, and error reports when something breaks. We also store small files and identifiers on your device so you stay signed in as the same guest or user between visits.

Camera and microphone access is controlled by your browser. The site only asks for it when you pick a video or voice match, and you can withdraw permission in your browser settings at any time.

05 Why we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your private chats to build advertising profiles.

• Running the service: making matches, delivering messages, showing clubs, streams and profiles.
• Keeping it safe: reviewing reports, enforcing club rules and our terms, spotting spam and fraud, and banning accounts that break the rules.
• Handling money: processing coin purchases and VIP, crediting rewards, and answering billing questions.
• Improving the site: understanding which features people use and fixing what goes wrong.
• Talking to you: answering support emails and telling you about changes that affect your account.

06 Who else sees your information

Other users see what you choose to show them: your display name and photo, whatever you say or show in a match, and what you post in a club, where every member can read it. Club owners see requests to join their club and the members in it.

Service providers we rely on, such as hosting, payment processing, translation and error monitoring, receive what they need to do their part and nothing more. We may share information when the law requires it, to protect someone from serious harm, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the service, in which case this policy continues to apply.

07 How long records stay

We keep information while your account or guest profile is active and for as long afterwards as we need it for safety, billing records or legal reasons. Messages, follows and club memberships are removed or anonymized when the account is deleted, apart from records we must hold on to, such as purchase history and reports about rule breaking.

08 Your choices

• Stay a guest, or keep your profile to a name with no photo.
• Use text or voice mode so your camera stays off.
• Unfollow, block and leave clubs whenever you like.
• Ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion of your account by writing to [email protected] with your user ID.
• Clear site data in your browser to remove the identifiers stored on your device.

09 Age and changes to this policy

ICanHazChatCam is only for people aged 18 and over. Any account we find belongs to someone under that age is closed and its information removed.

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how your information is used, we will tell you on the site before it takes effect.
